Vice-Presidency for Cultural and Social Affairs Holds:
The world we live in is full of pain and suffering. From one perspective, a range of these problems are out of our minds, and a bunch of those problems is in our minds. Some people seek the solutions to problems in out-of-mind tools, and the other seek to solve problems in the mind. In a way, culture gives more weight to the mind and says: with the full mind and the transformation of ideas and beliefs, and with the management of emotions and feelings, the problems outside the mind can be also solved.
In our Iranian heritage, proverbs, myths, legends, stories, it can be found the sayings and factors that play important roles in shaping the useful and constructive ideas. For a genuine and prosperous cultural birth, we need to use all the inner capacities of the intellectual heritage of nations, and the dialogue is the only tool that can achieve this. In other words, in modern times, we need the dialogue more than other anything. To be conversational, we need to listen well and we should practice the listening so that we do not seek to negate, suppress, humiliate, and overcome others in the middle of the conversation.
The National and International Webinars of Shahid Rajaee University’s Vice Chancellor for Culture allow us to take an important step in resolving issues in the light of effective dialogue and a calm atmosphere, and to pursue the policy-making, the management, and the careful and efficient planning in the shadows of culture.
