The head of the Center for International Scientific Cooperation of the MSRT suggested:
Dr. Hossein Salar Amoli, Head of the International Scientific Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, proposed the formation of a “Joint Committee for Educational, Research Cooperation, and technology of Iran and China” at the opening ceremony of the Caspian Ecosystem International Research Center, which was held virtually on Aban 1400.
In this ceremony, Dr. Salar Ameli stated: “I take this opportunity to congratulate the arrival of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the People’s Republic of China, and the unwavering cooperation of the two countries to combat Covid Pandemic.”
He thanked the initiative for the establishment of the Caspian International Ecosystem Research Center, which was implemented in close cooperation with the University of Guilan and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and stated: “Undoubtedly, the establishment of such a center will greatly contribute to the scientific synergy of the two great countries. The Caspian Sea is a divine blessing and a lasting legacy of ancient nature for its neighboring countries and other nations. Therefore, the task of protecting the marine and terrestrial environment, Hyrcanian forests, birds, fish, seabed plants, and other rich resources is the responsibility of all of us.”
Dr. Salar Amoli added, “In addition to the Caspian International Ecosystem Research Center, the MSRT has supported the establishment of joint Iran-China research centers in the universities of Tehran, Gilan, Shiraz, Isfahan Industrial, and Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources of Gorgan.”
According to him, the Chinese Academy of Sciences has also helped to cooperate by supporting the establishment of joint research centers between Iran and China and the supply of their equipment. The MSRT has also tried to achieve scientific cooperation by encouraging and attracting the cooperation of university professors and experts and providing a suitable working environment.
