School of Electrical and Computer Engineering was established in 1981 with the name of “Electric Institute”. Moreover, up to 2001 has the task of training Specialists, Associate and Bachelor’s courses. Also in addition to construction and development laboratories and workshops at the university level, has founded laboratory and workshop spaces in other colleges. The school has done valuable services in holding industrial training courses in factories, cooperation in the investigation, development and revision of vocational textbooks, editing courses headlines as well as training programs in the Supreme Council Planning of the Science Ministry.
Since 2001 with a new approach in education and research, only two integrated Bachelor courses for engineers and technical secretary were held; and since 2007 postgraduate courses and in 2012 PhD courses were held in this school.
