Shahid Rajaee University Students Won Medals in Asian competitions
In the 2018 Asian Indonesian Games, students from the faculty of Sport Sciences won three silver medals and a bronze medal.
Ms. Maryam Omidi Parsa raced in lightweight rowing with rivals from South Korea, Hong Kong, India, Uzbekistan and Iraq, ending with a 7: 48.38 on the second Asian place and receiving a silver medal.
In the heavyweight double rowing, Ms. Maryam Karami, student of Shahid Rajaee University of Sport Sciences, won the third place with 7: 35.45 in rivals from China, South Korea, Japan, Kazakhstan and India, receiving Bronze medal.
In rowing, four lightweight women, Maryam Karami and Maryam Omidi Parsa competed with rivals from Vietnam, South Korea, Thailand, Chinese Taipei and Indonesia, and ended up second with 7: 04.38. They got the silver medal.
