Ranked fourth in the world by the team of IRAN at the Nineteenth World Computer Olympiad

According to the executive director of the 29th International Computer Olympiad, this important international event was held from July 28 to August 4 in Tehran and was organized by the Ministry of Education. Dr. Hamid Reza Azemati, with the involvement of more than 80 countries from around the world, added that around 320 participants competed in this major international event. The head of the Shahid Rajaee University added that the Olympiad’s test was held in two days in the building of Koohe Noor and at the venue for the hotels of Evin and Azadi.

World Computer Olympiad spokesman, referring to the role of the Shahid Rajaee University in organizing the 2017 World Computer Olympiad, highlights the programs that have been implemented for the participants, as well as cultural and entertainment programs such as visiting the carpet museum, Gonbad Mina and Paul Nature, Bird Garden, Milad Tower, Botanical Garden, and several other programs, adding that more than 700 people have used these programs daily.

 

Also, the head of the Shahid Rajaee University said that 26 of the participants in the Olympiad won the gold medal, said that our beloved country was ranked fourth in the world and after Japan, China and Russia, adding that in this period Olympiad A team of Iran won a gold medal and three silver medals.
