15th International ISC Conference on Information Security and Cryptology was held at Shahid Rajaee University
In the opening ceremony of this important scientific and international event, Dr Mohammad Shams Esfandabadi, the Deputy Director of Research and Technology at Shahid Rajaee University, praised the participants of the conference for the honors of the Shahid Rajaee University in recent years, especially in the field of research, and ascent of university rank and Getting the third rank of scientific excellence in the country, as well as publishing the articles of the faculty and students of this university in the first publications of the world, including the publication of the journal named examples of these achievements and honors.
In another part of the opening ceremony, Dr Saeed Oliaee the secretary of the 15th international conference on information security and cryptology, , described the activities of the conference and the brilliant background of the Shahid Rajaee University in holding important national and international events in the field of electrical engineering, computer and Information technology such as “Third Conference on Telecommunication Engineering in Iran”, “The 5th Iranian Conference on Electromagnetics in Engineering”, “The 7th Energy Networks Conference”, “The 29th Global Computer Olympiad with the participation of 84 countries”, and Electricity, Electronics, Computer And the mechatronics reminiscent of the “Kharazmi Young Festival”.
The conference secretary highlighted the topics of this course in reflection, implementation of cryptographic algorithms and related attacks, network security, security protocols, computer security, security engineering and security of electronic services, information caching, cybercrime, and a new scientific-extension field. By stating that Shahid Rajaee University, based on the permission of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, is the country’s science education polygraph, the focus is “Security education in the environments associated with industrial control systems and in education” as the special axis of science.
The secretary of the fifteenth international conference, referring to the beginning of the secretariat of the conference since late March 2018 and the time limit that existed, noted that at the deadline for the submission of papers, 77 articles were received after three meetings of the Scientific Committee of the Conference and Review Referee comments: 27 articles were accepted, 14 of which were presented as poster, and 13 articles were presented verbally, which are also supported by IEEE. He conferred on the members of the international scientific committee 37 experts and faculty members from about 20 universities inside and outside the country, and presented the conference exhibition in a space of about 600 square meters from other activities of the fifteenth conference.
The conference continued on the morning and afternoon of Tuesday, 28th of august, with the presentation of various papers and keynote speeches. In the afternoon meeting of the first day of this conference, Dr. Mohammad Reza Aref, the head of Iranian association of security and cryptology, thanked the Shahid Rajaee University for the proper hosting, and presented a report on the activities of the association.
On the second day of the conference, there were also various posters and oral presentations. Visiting the exhibition was visited by Dr. Mohammad Reza Aref and the officials of Shahid Rajaee University and members of association and several key lectures from the other axis of the second day. At the closing ceremony of the conference, the top articles, dissertations, judges, publications, sponsors, exhibitors were honored. The congratulations from the secretary of the conference were also thanked by the head of association. It is worth noting that the 16th session of the conference will be held at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.
